Raffle Prizes

ADDED 17th August

Main prizes:

• 1st Prize: An 81cm (32inch) TCL HD LCD television. Donated by Retravision at Toukley.
  
• 2nd Prize: A hamper donated by the Taxi Club and a $100 voucher donated by the Breastform Store.
• 3rd Prize: A voucher for 1 makeup lesson donated by Image by Design and a $100 voucher donated by the Breastform Store.
• 4th Prize: A hamper of hair care products donated by Shimz Hair Design of Morisset and a $100 voucher donated by the Breastform Store.
• 5th Prize: 1 nights accomodation at the Mercure Airport Hotel and a free makeup lesson donated by Image by Design.

Other prizes:

• Princess of the Ball: A $200 voucher donated by Simone Perele Lingerie and a garland of flowers.

• Lucky Door Prize: A basket of Avon Products valued around $100 donated by Seahorse members, Amy and Lucie and a $100 voucher from the Breastform Store.

Note: Prizes may be subject to last minute changes without notification. Some of these items will be brought to the ball on the day by the person donating the prize and as such we will have no control over the accuracy of the description of the goods.

Pre-Ball Shopping Trip

UPDATED 17th August

Beverley Russell, from Victoria, has organised a Saturday morning shopping trip on the 20th August.

For those who are booked, the bus will pick us up at 9.30am sharp and will visit clothing, jewelry and footwear outlets, and also includes morning tea and a lunch and return back to the Mercure at 1.30pm approx.

Cost including lunch at Hotel Alexandra, morning tea and cake, pick up and drop off: $50.00pp

Professional makeup artists

There will be makeup artists available on the afternoon of the Ball. A conference room will be set aside for this purpose.

Changing facilities

There will be a change room for those not staying at the hotel and who are unable to travel there en-femme. Please contact Seahorse on 0423 125 860 to lets us know if you wish to use this facility.

Friday Restaurant Night at the Mercure

UPDATED 17th August

There will be a dinner held at the Mercure Hotel at 7pm on the Friday night before the Ball. This gives the guests who have traveled from all over the state and interstate to get to meet each other and for "first timers" as there are always some at our ball, to get rid of the inevitable "first time out nerves". In past years up 30-40 guests have attended these dinners so you will have plenty of company.

You are welcome to attend this if you are not staying at the hotel, and even if you are unable to make it to the Ball on Sauturday.

No booking required... just turn up after 7pm.

If you are planning to stay at the hotel (and this is always the best idea), accommodation for the Seahorse Ball is as follows:

Saturday: 7:00pm:	Cocktail party in the Foyer, canapés and Champagne. Ball ticket registrations in Piano bar.
8:00pm:	Ball opening and first dance bracket, Cutting the birthday cake.
8:15pm:	Dinner: Entrees and mains (alternate servings) with dinner music to allow conversation.
9:00pm:	Interval
9:30pm:	Rock and Roll Band: second dance bracket
10:05pm:	The Cabaret Floor Show will include two of Australia's top entertainers, Lisa Crouch and Australia's Got Talent 2011 Finalist, Wayne Rogers.
10:30pm:	Desserts served. 20 minute break
10:50pm:	Disco bracket
11:15pm:	Drag Queen Show
11:25pm:	Rock and Roll Band: third Dance bracket
11:55pm:	Raffle prizes drawn.
12:10am:	Drag Queens 2nd Show
12:15am:	Final Disco Dance Bracket.
12:30am:	Parade and crowning of the "Prince" and "Princess" of the Ball
12:45am:	Final dance bracket band disco
1:00am:	Ball closes. Patrons are encouraged to move next door to the lounge bar or Taxi Club if preferred (See transport details on the night - club open until 5:00am)

Seahorse Society Ball Menu 2011

ADDED 6th June

Each of the courses will be served to alternate seats.

Entrée

1. Chilli Chicken:
   Chicken tenderloin, with sweet potato noodle and mirin soy sauce.
2. Lamb Cutlets:
   with Tarragon Potato Rosti. Dressed with minted yogurt.

Main Course

1. Slow Roasted Scotch Lamb:
   In Roast Garlic Sauce, with Israeli Cous Cous and Broccolini.
2. Baked Barramundi:
   Oregano marinated, with sliced potato, savoy spinach, in a Chardonnay sauce.

Dessert

Seahorse Birthday Cake.
