Hi Dianne,

Awesome news, could you please tell us where this will be located, even a town/city or somewhere your aiming for, Northern NSW covers everywhere North of Hornsby, that is for us country people NSW is the Wollongong, Penrith, Hornsby area, everythere outside that area is overseas or putting nicely, I live in Cessnock and I have no idea if there are any other trans people in Cessnock, however I know there are more people out there.

The only way I have met other trans people in our area is either on facebook or in the waiting room of Jon Hayes office.

I have learnt that we have a transgender teacher across the road from me and I learnt that from listening to one of the parents of a student complain that this teacher went into graphic surgical information to primary school students.

I also know a secondary school teacher lost his job here in town because it was in the media. My GP is aware of who is trans in Cessnock so she has asked me about support groups before.
