One small step

Last night I think I broke some new ground in our small rural community. We were holding a trivia night to raise money to upkeep our local hall so as I'm in the process of transition I thought it would be a good opportunity to let the locals meet Dianne a few already knew and the bush telegraph already had me in dresses. I thought I would dress conservatively so it was an eighties theme I wore boot cut jeans a denim shirt with eagles motif my own boobs which are a big a cup and Cuban heel ankle boots makeup and jewellery. To my surprise everyone was there it was more people than we expected close to one hundred. But to my eternal gratitude I was so accepted and congratulated on having the courage to be myself even by the old guard who I thought would dismiss me stopped to chat. I'm so proud of the people in the bush. We didn't win the trivia contest but I think we won something so much more important
