I finally joined seahorse today after touching base a few times and confided in my new girlfriend who's ok with my crossdressing and is willing to participate, what a relief I now want to transition to hormone therapy does anyone know of a good GP and Endocrinologist in western Sydney near St Mary's i'll go to Parramatta my doctor wouldn't prescribe me hormones due to my spinal cord injury without the specialist involved, I keep getting knock backed by female endocrinologists but my GP did prescribed me Eflornithine cream to stop the hair growth on my face it isn't cheap a 30 gm tube costs $90

Endocrinologists require a report from a psychiatrist (preferably one with experience with transgender patients) confirming a diagnosis of gender dysphoria and their suitability to go on to hormones.

People may still not be suitable if they have major medical problems, such as heart disease or strokes, diabetes, severe obesity, etc., or if they have serious mental illness (Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder) that may impair their decision making abilities.

HI

Can a GP prescribe hormones without an endocrinologist , I'm seeing a new doctor Saturday, does a doctor need to obtain an authority for your prescription ifnyou go for a private prescription and don't want to PBS

Does anyone want to help me to dress as a women again, I've purchased some lingerie and clothing from eBay and still waiting for a lot of them to arrive, i think I may need two people to help men as I can't stand.

I am not fan of sissy style dressing, i'd like to learn to dress to suit my age but classy, sexy I'm a big fan of Rago style classic lingerie

Does anyone run a weekend away dressing service in Sydney or close by

The proper process is:

1. See your GP and get a referral to a Psychiatrist for a assessment.

2. If the psych thinks it is appropriate, he will refer you to an endocrinologist or recommend your GP refer you to an endocrinologist experienced in treating trans-people. Dr Jon Hayes is the most experienced endo with trans-people in Sydney.

How many people need to help you dress as a man? It should take to same to dress you as a woman.

Ophelia at Cross-dress with Class is now based in Melbourne, but still see previous clients and Seahorse members at Coogee. Wheelchair access would be difficult, however.
