Makeup tips for beginners: Part Four

By Christine (704)

Finishing Touches

Look over your face in the magnifying mirror. With a cotton bud, tidy up any bits of mascara from around the eye. Reapply some more face powder, touching up any shiny areas.

Conclusions

The big take home message should be: do not pile on the makeup heavily. Keep it light, keep it simple. Experiment by all means, but not on the night that you are going out. The aim should be that you want to look that you are not obviously wearing makeup.

You are going out for an evening and you want to look a bit more dramatic, then go for highlighting EITHER the eyes OR the lips with more striking colours, but NOT BOTH.

Outreach and Education in Country Areas

Outreach is a new education program, started in 2007, to allow cross dressers from country areas, their partners or wives, counsellors, health workers and other interested parties to meet and discuss relevant issues.

The last seminar was held in Dubbo in March 2008. Read here for details

Joining the Seahorse Society

If you are a crossdresser residing in NSW and would like to have contact with other crossdressers, then you may wish to consider joining the Seahorse Society.

We have regular monthly meetings, occasional restaurant nights and the famous Seahorse Ball once a year. More importantly, we offer support and guidance for fellow crossdressers and their partners and families.
